About Me

Hello, my name is Shane, and I love being outdoors in our natural environment and get out amongst it as often as possible. Camping, hiking, and adventure, that’s what I call enjoyment, it’s not for everybody I know, but I love it and it’s great for the soul.

It’s also a great way to connect to the land we walk upon, exploring our natural environments and discovering some truly magnificent landscapes gives a sense of satisfaction and joy that cannot be had by any other means.

Why This Site Exists.

This site exists to help those who have a need for information and answers to research, and who are looking for solutions to their camping and camping equipment needs. I am totally unbiased and as honest as possible in my reviews as no manufacturer supports me or sponsors me in any way, and if they do I will then announce that fact at the start of any review.

I also visit trade shows and camping expo’s regularly to stay up to date with new ideas and developments as the main intention of this site is to help you with that research and give you the answers you may seek in determining the true value and usefulness of a particular product. It is important for you to research what is out there in the marketplace, and that is the intention of this website, to be the one-stop solution to your research and purchasing decisions

After many years of traveling and camping, both for pleasure and work-related in many varied locations, I have used and owned dozens of different camping and outdoors products, this has given me an opportunity to do research, and evaluate many different pieces of equipment, which in turn has allowed me to gain knowledge that I can use here.

Thank you for visiting my site and if you would like to ask a question or you would like to have a product reviewed please contact me on shane@mybestcampstuff.com

If you have any more questions about my site, I’ll be more than happy to answer them in the comments section below.

Remember! Leave it cleaner than you found it, only footprints not rubbish.

Thanks, Shane.
