Camping doesn’t get better than when you have a quality stove like the Stansport Outfitter Propane Stove – 3 Powerful Burners. This is one very good stove you can take along to cook meals and enjoy the company of family and friends while outdoors.

And now you are on this page you are right where you should be, keep reading to discover what this particular 3-burner propane camp stove has to offer. And more importantly, find out why it could be all you’ve been searching for.

The Key Features

Three powerful burners

The first and most essential thing you should look out for in a propane stove is how robust it is. And this one never disappoints at that, thanks to its two 25,000 BTU burners and the center 10,000 BTU burner.

Packing such raw power, it will have no trouble cooking any food in your recipe book. A lot of stoves in its tier don’t offer good burner control on the low settings. But you can control this stove from low all the way to high depending on your needs.

Windscreens

The wind is one of the aspects that make cooking in the outdoors a nightmare for most campers. Unfortunately, most of the stoves out there don’t feature reliable windscreens to protect the flame.

And some don’t have them on all crucial sides. Thankfully, this stove has this protection on the sides and back, giving your flame ideal protection and ensuring fast, even cooking.

Instant start

Starting your stove can be very frustrating if it’s not built for the best performance. There’s some good news for you; with the Piezo electronic ignition in this stove, you will never struggle to get the flames started.

All it takes is a twist of its igniter switch, and you are ready to start cooking almost in an instant. What’s more, the knob in this stove means you can start it or turn it off without pushing the stove to slide backward like is the case with push buttons.

Easy cleanup

Once you’re all done, the task to clean your Stansport stove follows, and thankfully, with a stainless steel drip tray cleaning this stove becomes even easier. It also has a stainless steel casing plus the rust-resistant drip base of the stove is durable and looks shiny for seasons on end.

Portable

How the lid connects to your stove when you shut it up also counts, a whole lot. This comes down to the latches and the performance they offer. Some stoves feature a single middle latch, while others have flimsy plastic latches.

With this one, however, you get two sturdy latches that can put up some impressive performance. Carry your stove around without concerns over the possibility of latches breaking and having to secure the lid with tape or bungees.

The Stansport name hs been around for a long time so when you decide to buy a Stansport item you should be most satisfied with the purchase. I believe this Stansport 3-burner propane stove is just one of many good products to hit the market.

With a total of 60,000BTU, there is no recipe that you won’t be able to tackle while outdoors.

Warranty

When you buy a product always check to see what the warranty covers and more importantly what it doesn’t cover, manufactures will cover defective workmanship in manufacture, however, there are many other instances that vary from product to product and manufacturer so be sure to check your warranty closely.

The price of this product is reasonable so check out the current price here now on ==>Amazon<== and compare the information with the Outland Portable Camping Stove.

This is an excellent stove and is a free-standing design, but for a good comparison of two different models that will help with your purchasing decision, be sure to check it out.

What are the Benefits You Can Expect From This Product?

The cooking grates are one of the things about this Stansport stove that will blow you away. Made for heavy-duty use, they not only provide outstanding performance, but they are also every bit as durable and will last many years.

It is versatile so you can use it with the small disposable tanks or go for a bulk tank that can last you longer and offer more service.

The choice is all yours if your tent camping for an extended period then you can set yourself up with a 20-pound tank and stay off the grid for weeks at a time.

High power burners offer an exciting fast cooking option. While it’s quick to boil water for your morning coffee it also gives you the ability and convenience to control the heat so as not to burn the eggs that your preparing.

The easy and fast ignition offers an almost instant performance in starting the flames on your stove. Forget about the traditional slow and inconvenient options like matches or lighters, this stove has got you covered.

I own equipment with the piezo ignition system and I will swear by it they are great.

Its four short rubber legs make it stand just inches above the table. They also reduce the possibility of the stove slipping and sliding all over the place this is very convenient and makes the stove more stable and safe.

The lid is not detachable; however, you can fold it back once you unlock the flaps. This offers you a much-needed space so you can use your stove without obstruction, plus it acts as one of the windscreens.

With the stainless steel sections, cleaning your stove after cooking is as easy as it can ever get. This not only makes it remain sparkling for a long time, but it also offers outstanding durability since it doesn’t rust easily.

A knob igniter proves to be better at getting the job done than a button one. With a button one, you might have to hold the stove from behind to prevent it from sliding back (which can be tricky and risky when turning off the stove while it’s still hot). This design is more reliable and convenient.

Here’s a Tip Or Two

  • If you want to hook up to a large bulk tank you need to purchase a Stansport Stove regulator and Hose.
  • Always make sure to handle propane tanks with care to avoid accidents.

 Pros.

  1. It has a high power output for ultimate performance.
  2. Easy to use ignition giving you an instant start.
  3. Stainless steel surfaces make cleanup a breeze.
  4. Windscreens on three sides provide enough cover for the flames.
  5. High altitude pressure regulator.
  6. Extra heavy-duty cooking grate.

Cons.

  1. It does not come with a carry case.
  2. It doesn’t have a handle as such, but you can carry by a slot on its underside.

My Overall Opinion

If you are heading out for a car camping expedition 3-burner propane camp stoves probably suit best because of weight and size and this stove has the power output you would need for fast and efficient cooking.

This Stansport Stove offers an awesome control of the heat, which can be great across the board, from boiling coffee to simmering your food. On top of that, it is built to take on the unforgiving rigors of the outdoors.

And once you are done cooking your favorite meals and having fun, cleaning the spills is always a snap, what more could one ask for?

As you pack up for your next trip to the woods, this camping stove is one of the things you can’t afford to leave behind. We were impressed with the overall performance and ability of this stove and rate it a high 8 from 10

  1. Hello Shane,

Thanks for sharing this great information on the Stansport Outfitter Propane Stove. One of the first features that caught my eye was the Instant Start, which as you pointed out, can be a nightmare! And as woman, the easy clean-up is a bonus. At 14.2 pounds, I think it would be manageable for a woman to handle.

I do a lot of the outdoor barbecuing and it can get frustrating at times, especially with the wind and the hassles of starting it. This sounds like a worthwhile stove to think about trying.

  2. Hi Shane,

The last time I went camping was for a Jazz festival in Wales.  I really enjoyed it! Both the festival and camping.  It was a nightmare to put up the tent as it was raining, but with some help from other people on the site we managed it.

I am really glad to find such a stove as this.  It is really useful and the part that really interested me was the wind protection and also quick ignition button.

It looks very sturdy and would be perfect for making my favourite camp stew; chicken wings and carrots simmered very gently…

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Hi! Yeah, you’re right cooking outdoors is a nightmare for campers. So I appreciate the windshields and the good reviews other users have given about them.

Based on my first hand experience, its four short rubber legs are also convenient. Safety is super important in my book.

Your post has almost made me make up my mind. Before searching for information about Stansport Outfitter Propane Stove, somebody recomended me the Texsport Propane Stove. But there were a couple of things I didn’t like about it. But the most important con was that the underside is exposed. I would like to ask you: Is the underside is exposed in the Stansport Outfitter Propane Stove?

    • Hi Henry, I appreciate your comment , anything that creates a safer environment for our family and friends the better, i had a terrible experience with a gas explosion from a camp stove as a child so i know first hand the importance of maintaining and using good equipment. I’m not sure i understand about the Texsport being exposed, however, the Stansport is encased in a steel outer shell completely covered both top and bottom. I hope this helps.

      Thanks Shane.
